Aero Park Estate residential housing lots now for sale with local agents

Positioned on the north-western edge of Gilgandra, the new Aero Park Estate opened to buyers on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. Stage one consists of 22 fully-serviced residential housing lots. They range from 1242m2 to 1897m2 and prices start at $82,500. To encourage development, Gilgandra Shire Council is also offering a rate reimbursement incentive to the first five lots sold. This incentive is available provided the dwelling is constructed and occupied within two years of the settlement of the land sales contract.
This new Aero Park real estate release is the largest in a generation, according to Hayden Whiteman from MH Thomas and Gilgandra Real Estate. “It’s a blank canvas for people to have a choice,” he said. “We’ve had good inquiry [from buyers] since the announcement last Tuesday.” All street infrastructure has been built underground to maintain the new estate’s image. Concrete kerbing and guttering keep the streets dry and orderly. “All houses up there are going to be brand new,” said MH Thomas’ Cheryl Batten. “The ambiance is going to be lovely. We are hoping it has appeal to entice more people to coming for work and family. It’ll give people the opportunity to build something new on very cost-effective land.”
People building new housing would free up room around town and let more people move in locally, according to agent Alison Thomas. “We’re very lucky that council took the initiative to develop the land. In any other town it would have been a developer building houses,” she said. Lots in stage one of the Aero Park real estate development are now on sale.
