On Sunday, November 24, the public was invited to attend the morning event commemorating Olivia’s debut.

Afterglow is a romance novel about “two broken souls who use love to heal and create hope for tomorrow.” Olivia considered the event that attracted around 20 people to be a success when she spoke with The Gilgandra Weekly. She noted the book launch was put together in a less than a week.

“It was good. I sold some books and got to talk to some of those that came,” she said.

“I gave a little speech about [Afterglow]; everyone seemed pretty excited and was really supportive.”

Afterglow is the first in a series of novels Olivia hopes to publish, with the second already being drafted. “It’s very hard [to write],” Olivia said. “[Afterglow] took me nearly a year. I started last November and finished the first draft in June this year.

“I’m writing the second book in the series right now. That’ll hopefully be published mid next year.”
