St Ambrose Church is in desperate need of funding.

Works to underpin and stabilise the foundations are planned to begin next January; the Save St Ambrose committee need to secure funding by Christmas.

The National Trust has recently opened an account for the St Ambrose Memorial, meaning donations to the restoration are now tax deductable.

For information on how to donate, see the ad or whatever on page whatever.

Otherwise, consider the Save St Ambrose Harvest Drive. Members of the committee sell and deliver products under St Ambrose’ NGR number, now open to all that are interested.

Save St Ambrose committee member Madeline Foran explained that “we had [enough funds], but costs have been revised up.”

“Gilgandra has this magnificent building of international importance, and we need help to keep it standing,” she said.

St Ambrose Church has suffered a lot of cosmetic damage over the years, but recent lateral structural damage has necessitated the buildings closure and restoration.
