Making good on a promise made at the 2024 Gilgandra Film Festival, sound and recording equipment has been donated to young filmmakers who participated in Early Harvest Films. The donation by the Gilgandra Film Festival Committee comes after the successful debut of young filmmakers' films from around the region. Submissions came from Eumungerie Public School, Gilgandra Public School, Tooraweenah Public School, St Joseph’s School, and the Gilgandra Shire Library’s Tech Club. Each has received a DJI MIC2 Wireless Microphone to support young filmmakers and their projects.
