Gilgandra under 14s netball side grabs a hard-fought win
Round four in the Dubbo netball competition was played on Saturday in beautiful conditions.

The under 14s were very happy with their game coming away with a hard-fought win 33-30 over the previously unbeaten X-Cellerate Wolverines.
The U12s narrowly missed out going down 26-23 to Narromine Spitfires who are now sitting just above them on the ladder.
The U11 girls matched up against third place Fusion Sparkles and the under nine girls had a great morning playing St Cubs.
If you happen to be in Dubbo on a Saturday morning, be sure to get down to the netball courts and cheer on our Panther netballers.
In the footy, our U14s and 16s enjoyed a sleep in as Walgett do not have teams in these age groups. The under eights and U10s both had great games of footy, Ricky Bennett picked up Panther of the Week for under eights and Bella Hammond and Brax Hammond-Brown for the U10s. Thank you to all the parents for getting the kids to Walgett, it’s a bit of a trek!
Team bonding was on the agenda for the U12s with their coaches taking them on a bus trip to Walgett. Matari Towney was their Panther of the Week in what was reported as “a very close game”.
A few late tries to Walgett allowed them to take the win 34-22 over the Panthers.
We head to Coonamble this Saturday for footy and all the netballers get a game down in Dubbo.
