Gular to honour Sara on 2024 Ladies Day
The 2024 Gulargambone Rugby Union Club Ladies Day will pay tribute to long-time club supporter, the late Sara Roche.
The 2024 Gulargambone Rugby Union Club Ladies Day will pay tribute to long-time club supporter, the late Sara Roche. This weekend, the club will host the popular annual Ladies Day crowd at home at Gulargambone, with the dress code and theme of the day ‘A touch of Pink’. During the day, the club will acknowledge Sara’s support to rugby union. The Roche family have described her as “one of the club’s most passionate and dedicated supporters for over 30 years”.
“From being secretary of the club and Western Plains Zone, to cheering on her husband Chris Roche from the sidelines throughout the 1990s, and then her son Michael in recent years. There was nowhere she’d rather be on a Saturday afternoon than sitting at the scorers table or under the Ladies Day tent leading the cheers from the crowd.”

In terms of the rugby action, this year’s Ladies Day title will be versus northern rivals Coonamble.
