They travelled from New Zealand for a cross cultural event and to understand Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services and our model of care.

For some, this was there first time to Australia, particularly this part of the Country. They were welcomed with open arms.
There was a traditional Welcome to Country, given by Traditional Owner Lewis Burns, and Uncle Ralph Naden OAM.
It was followed by a visit to the Gilgandra clinic where Buddie Knight shared her experiences and traded gifts to the visitors.
Following Gilgandra’s welcome, the visitors headed to Coonamble, then through to Walgett, ending up at the fish traps in Brewarrina.
