Gilgandra’s Australia Day celebrations are shaping up!
Once again, Gilgandra Sporties Club will host the Prelude concert.
Look forward to live music, comedy sketches, good food, and more!
The party starts at 6.00pm on Saturday, January 25.
Returning acts will be crowd favourites, but patrons can also look forward to the young talent that has joined the show these past few years!
Gilgandra Speedway will host its own weekend full of racing action, starting 6.00pm Saturday, January 25.
There is another meeting on Sunday afternoon at Gilgandra Speedway.
Our Australia Day morning will be spent in Hunter Park, enjoying a BBQ breakfast catered locally.
Australia Day Ambassador Dr Clio Cresswell will give her speech and join us in celebrating on January 26.
Citizen awards will be presented at 9.00am by our Ambassador Dr Cresswell, and mayor Doug Batten.

We can all enjoy free entry to the pool once morning celebrations end, right in time to escape the summer heat.
