Toyota named ‘Rural Dealer’ second year running
Dubbo City and Gilgandra Toyota have won rural dealer of the year second year in a row!
Dubbo City and Gilgandra Toyota have been recognised for their “dedication to excellence” winning Toyota's 2024 Eastern Region Rural Dealer of the Year Award, announced at a gala event on Saturday, March 8, 2025.
Gilgandra Toyota branch manager, Mark Walker, said he was proud of the local team. “I couldn’t be prouder of our team and the effort they put in every day. Their hard work and commitment to great customer service really do pay off, and this award is proof of that,” said Mr Walker. “A huge thank you to our customers and local community - your support means the world to us."
The award is the second consecutive year, Dubbo City and Gilgandra Toyota have won rural dealer of the year.
Dealer principal, Ben Thompson, attributes the company’s success in the awards to its ongoing “commitment to delivering outstanding service to our customers and community. In addition [to rural dealer], our team was recognised across multiple categories on the evening,” said Mr Thompson.
Other awards included gold awards for sales, people and culture excellence; silver awards for parts and loyalty excellence, silver in Toyota Finance Australia Access Dealer of the Year, and four bronze awards for used vehicles, service, business management, and marketing and customer experience. They also won a 2024 President's Award.
“These awards are a testament to the hard work, passion, and expertise of our entire team, who consistently go above and beyond to provide an exceptional experience for every guest. Winning these awards for a second year in a row is an incredible honour," said Mr Thompson.
"It's a reflection of our team's dedication and the trust our customers place in us every day. We are deeply grateful for the continued support of our local community - it's their loyalty and encouragement that drive us to be our best."
